About

As stated on the Home page this site is a series of photo essays of railway galas, military history events and museums from around the UK. In publishing my pictures I find myself adding some commentary and so I should say at the outset that all views and opinions are mine and mine alone. Similarly any errors or omissions are entirely down to me. Should you feel so inclined to provide constructive comment or feedback I would be happy to receive it.

I said a little about myself on the Home page and mentioned some of the principal characters that will appear on this site.  For my own entertainment, and maybe to satisfy the curiosity of  the curious web surfer who happens by, here are a few snaps.

So lets start off with me….

…and my long standing chum, fellow anorak and explorer Mr Anthony  H (Tony) …

… moving on to the ladies who inspire us, my lovely DD and Tony’s equally lovely Annie…

….and now our Welsh correspondent Brian with yet another lovely lady, his wife Aleli…

…and finally this page would not be complete without mention of our former House Guard Hamster TT…

Sadly TT passed away in the autumn of last year… I was dreadfully upset. We now have a new guard hamster, Berty, backed up by two ferocious Guinea Pigs, Dolly and Molly. Pictures pending.
