Something you don’t see too often is a German World War II U-boat on top of a hill, but this is what happened at Military Odyssey 2011. At the time of writing I can’t readily put my hands on the show programme, which is always excellent BTW, and I’m sure it will provide informative information on the U-boat and the group that own it. Suffice to say that it was a super piece and allowed for some unusual photographic opportunities.
Additionally we were treated to a spectacular medieval contents in the Battle Arena as well as a sobering WWI skirmish.
